Description

The outcomes of the World Design Impact Prize 2021 will be presented in a 90-minute World Design Talks on 23 November from 1:30pm – 3pm UTC, with the participation of DESIS International Coordinator Teresa Franqueira. It will be an opportunity to recognize the three finalist projects and learn about the ways they are using design to make a difference in communities around the world.

JERRY: The Jerrycan Waterfilter, My Safetipin and TRASHPRESSO will share the obstacles and successes their respective projects have faced and elaborate on the impact each projects is having in different parts of the world.

For the last decade, World Design Impact Prize has highlighted the creativity and ingenuity of designers everywhere working to address a variety of global issues, including maternal health, water scarcity, climate change, public safety and homelessness.

In the presence of the global design community, as well as past WDIP winners, nominees and stakeholders, this virtual event will offer key perspectives on the power of design to improve our world for the better and announce the winner of the 2021 edition, live!
